    I was using the standard User Role Editor and was able to modify user BBPress permissions. I’ve upgraded to PRO User Role Editor and now all of the forum permissions have disappeared from the role editor. Is there something I have to do to enable BBPress?

    So, I uninstalled the standard user role editor, and the ability to edit custom capabilities disappeared entirely. So, I re-installed the standard version, and now my pro version only shows a handful of custom capabilities, while the standard version shows many more:

    Probably you use Pro version 4.17, when standard version is 4.18. Try to Pro version 4.18 beta. You may take it from the same download page.

    Version 4.18 adds capabilities for registered custom post types automatically.

    Or wait 1-2 days. I plan to publish Pro version 4.18. And you will get it through automatic update service.
