Grand Access to Dashboard for new Roles

Hi there!

I’ve upgraded to Pro because I thought that would solöve my problem. I want to grand new roles access to the admin dashboard. But no role and also the permission “view_admin_dashboard” didn’t solve the problem. So… has someone an idea?

Did you grant to a role at least ‘read’ capability?

For test I’ve checked all permissions but the User don’t have the permission to access the dashboard.

UPDATE

I’ve checked my other plugins and found an option there, which denied access to admin dashboard accept for admins. I had to uncheck and check this option again there. I think it has overwritten the “view admin dashboard” and “read” permission in user role editor. now it works fine. I granted access to the named two permissions and the new user can access the dashboard.

Sometimes it is too deifficult so keep an overview of all options in all plugins ^^
