Hide restricted posts from custom post type archive.

Hello,

when specific posts are restricted given user roles (as described here https://www.role-editor.com/content-view-access-restriction-selected-roles/) is it possible to hide them in custom post type archives, if the current user doesn’t have authority to see them?

I was expecting restricted posts would no longer appear in custom post type archives.

Ah! I think I answered my own question. Setting the “Action” to either 404 or Redirect did the trick.

I should have just played around with the plugin a bit more before posting here 🙂
