List Users & Edit Users Capability

Hi

When giving a role list users and edit users they do not have the ability to view the wp-admin/users.php page. They get an error saying ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.’

If I add ‘delete_users’ or if I add ‘manage-options’ as an example then they can but I do not want to give those permissions.

I cannot for the life in me work out why it won’t allow them to list users with the list users permission. Could you take a look and advise how I send you some private login credentials etc to take a look for me?

Hi Wayne,

I suppose that some other plugin may add its own restriction. You may try to deactivate all plugins and test, if user with ‘list_users’ may open users list.
