No User Role (Disable User)

Vlad.. I read your post here (https://www.role-editor.com/no-role-for-this-site/) and it seems you can assign a Role to someone that Has NO role, but i would like to be able to DISABLE a user (or BULK DISABLE MANY USERS) to many existing users. Is the best solution to this simply create a ‘NO ROLE’ with no capabilities and then assign BULK Action change to NO ROLE.? The only problem with that is then i don’t know what their previous Role is. I noticed there was an old plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-users/screenshots/) that could do this individually, but not in bulk but it doesnt seem to be supported anymore based on the support threads. Any thoughts on the best way to do this using URE?

You are right,
the best available solution to this is simply create some empty ‘no-role’ role (without capabilities) and then use bulk action to change a role for selected user to ‘no-role’.
