One of the jobs of an admin on my site is to approve new users. The admin account which normally performs that function has lost the ability to do it. I’ve checked the settings and ALL capabilities are marked as active for the user account in question. I can’t see any difference in assigned privileges between this account and any other admin.
When filtering for users pending approval, this account cannot see any, and can only see a subset of other types of users. Other admins can see everything they need to, even when logged in on the same computer. I’ve tried demoting the account to ‘subscriber’ then re-promoting it to ‘admin’ but it had no effect.
