Restrict access/view of admin notifications for custom user role

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to restrict access to all the promotions and marketing or update notifications that plugin authors use in the admin notifications area in the WordPress dashboard.

I’m running a multisite network spawning new site instances using WPMUDEV’s Pro Sites plugin. I can set Pro Sites to activate a new site with a custom user role I set with your plugin, but I want to make sure they don’t see update notifications in the WordPress dashboard.

Is there anything I can do?

I have a recipe how to make it as an additional option to the role. It’s possible to convert the functional part to the must-use plugin for any subsite of your network.
