Restrict page access to custom user role

I have created a user role called “Crew Leader” that is a copy of Subscriber. I want users with the Crew Leader role to have access to specific private pages. So, I installed the User Specific Content plugin, which allows me to check a box that specifies which user roles can view the page content. The plugin works fine with all user roles, except the ones I create with User Role Editor. Are you aware of this issue and know of a fix? Or is there a better way to restrict page access to specific user roles using your plugin?

Disregard. Found the solution. Make the user role name and slug the same, all lowercase and one word in URE.

User Role Editor Pro includes a ‘Content View Restrictions‘ add-on which (since activated) allows to manage what roles can see what posts as at the post level, as at the role level.
