    Is it possible to use URE to restrict access to elements of the visual editor for certain roles? For example, for contributors I want to hide the Format, Categories and Set Featured Image elements.

    Hi,

    These elements are named meta boxes at a WordPress. Yes, it’s possible to hide them for a role using ‘Meta boxes access‘ add-on.
