Thanks for the reply! The solution for the contributor is perfect.
However, for the editor, it means that he can FIRST tansform a published post into a draft, and THEN delete it. But I don’t want to give editors the opportunity of deleting published articles.
Is there any way to avoid this two-step method of deleting published posts?
Thanks for your help!
APSParticipantHello,
I now think there is some kind of incompatibility between VC and YoastSEO. When I disabled Yoast, the VC “Role Manager” started working again. So I think URE is not in cause. Good news for URE ! Bad news for Yoast…
Best,

APSParticipantThanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, I’d already given these permissions to the role.
It’s bizarre because the role can create everything else in the plugin – courses, classes, etc – except quizzes.
On a test site (on a different server) where I have LearnDash and URE (free version) installed, it’s also impossible for the author and editor role to create quizzes, but a custom role I created based on the contributor role CAN! The same role on my main site CAN’T. What can explain this?
Please help!
Best,
APSAPSParticipantThanks. This problem seems to have cleared up with the latest update.
APSParticipantHello,
It must have been a network problem as you speculated, as I’ve now managed to update successfully.
However, on a different subject, I note that I can no longer select a subset of capabilities by clicking on the “groups” in the left hand column, and the total/granted counter doesn’t seem to work. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
