officezenParticipant
Where would I create a full copy of admin role, etc.?
I cannot seem to be able to locate that option.
officezenParticipantWhat would be the reason I cannot deselect the “ure_manage_options” (or any other options for that matter) from the user?
Clicking on the blue checkmark does nothing.
officezenParticipantThank you for the confirmation.
officezenParticipantI’m a bit confused by your explanation here.
Is the admin user with no ‘ure_manage_options’ capability still able to remove non-admin users?
officezenParticipantI want to prevent this admin user from accidentally removing other admin user (myself, ID=1) while leaving him the ability to remove other non-admin users.
So does revoking the ‘ure_manage_options’ capability from this user achieve this?
officezenParticipantMy original admin with user ID 1 (Admin: A) was accidentally removed by another admin user (Admin: B) added by the original admin.
The ure_manage_option for Admin: B IS enabled. What’s the repercussions of disabling this option?
I still need Admin: B to be able to remove non-admin users.
officezenParticipantAlso, I tried using “Prohibit” instead blocking all the unauthorized categories. This works with the Business Directory categories, displaying them all with no pre-selected category, but when you go to add post for the authorized category, the category is not pre-selected, which I preferred selected.
officezenParticipantThanks for the detailed instructions.
One issue I’m facing now:
For post categories, I can block the users by adding only allowed CPT IDs with Allow – this will display only allowed categories pre-selected when they try to add a new post.
For Business Directory which has 20 categories, I do not wish any of them pre-selected. If I add their IDs to Allow, the very fist Business Directory category is pre-selected, which I do not want.
Is there way to achieve these two at the same time?
