Just a note for anyone else trying out this awesome new feature:
— After update, I had to deactivate and then reactivate the URE plugin to get the “Nav Menus” control to appear.
–Also since we are using two different menus in the same location depending on page template, I did have to at first leave un-blocked both menus at that location and then block the unneeded one after the admin view populated with the value for the menu that I want the user to only have access too.

I am pretty sure this failure to import occurs when I base a new role on an existing one. Ones created from scratch can be imported but this is a pain as I have a long series of roles that are similar except they are restricted to different site sections via post id in Posts Edit dialog.

clarification — have to add a role to get this to appear, then delete a dummy one that i create just to get to this capability

Updated my local version to latest — which allows more functionality but not consistent display of the success message or success with the file that I sent.

Additional information — the role that does not import is one that I based on another one — when i create a new role from scratch and then export it — that one does import.

Hi.

I implemented this but it seems to take the page down (no longer live) when I submit for review. Is there a way to keep the page live but submit the changes for review and then have an admin approve it later?
